broadcasting
In order to respect the aromatic molecules, the basic rule is never to heat essential oils. It is recommended to avoid diffusers that heat essential oils. There are several devices currently on the market. There are two main modes of transmission:
1) Pour essential oils into a glass of water, a diffuser that emits them in the form of tiny droplets (mist). These diffusers work on the cold micro-spray principle. The broadcast time is long (usually 60-90 minutes, some even up to 7 hours). The number of drops of essential oil depends on the type of diffuser and the surface of the room. The process has the advantage of providing a pleasant, relaxing or energizing olfactory atmosphere.
2) Glass Diffuser: Diffuse essential oils alone (without adding water) for 5 to 10 minutes every hour. Aroma molecules are then released to deliver all of their healing benefits, whether it’s cleaning the room (like Lemon), boosting breathing (like Ravintsara) or creating a relaxing atmosphere (like Lavender). The amount of essential oils to pour into a diffuser depends on the surface of the room and the type of diffuser.
Third use: the internal way
It is sometimes recommended to inhale essential oils by mixing them with sugar or honey. Essential oils are lipophilic (soluble in fatty substances) and it is recommended to ingest them with vegetable oils or fatty substances, the only food that can buffer the intensity of the taste and the causticity of the essential oils. However, some essential oils can be toxic to the liver, kidneys, and brain. Therefore, as a precautionary measure, it is best not to ingest it unless professional advice is sought.
Only a doctor is authorized to offer capsule (oral), egg (vaginal) and suppository (rectal) production.
Other Ways to Use Essential Oils
Essential oils can be used in the kitchen, but with caution. For this, essential oils must be added at the end of cooking preparations, once the dish is finished and cooked.
In fact, essential oils should not be heated so as not to alter their aromatic molecules and properties. If it is a dish with sauce, take part of the sauce with a spoon and add half a drop. Pour the contents of the spoon back onto the plate and taste. Proceed sparingly in this manner until the desired aromatic touch is achieved. Be careful when choosing essential oils and stick to the “established values”: lemon, sweet orange, rose, big green basil…
