Vaginal dryness is a concern for more than one in six women. However, simple and natural solutions exist…
aloe vera
Aloe vera is an anti-inflammatory and natural moisturizer that can be found in many vaginal dryness preparations at drugstores. Care must be taken to select a 100% organogel, preferably excipient-free.
calendula
Calendula is known for its emollient and emollient properties, especially in cases of skin irritation or dry and/or rough skin. It soothes and regenerates the skin. It is applied to the area in the form of an oily dip.
Centella
Centella asiatica is used in cosmetics for its restorative and healing properties, especially when it comes to dry skin. Its extreme softness means it can be used on delicate areas, including mucous membranes. It comes in oil form for topical application.
borage oil
Borage Oil promotes skin hydration. It can be taken orally or topically (intravaginally) in capsule form for ten days, provided the latter is 100% natural, preferably organic.
oily fish
Oily fish, such as salmon, mackerel, sardines, herring, and others, contain omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids that promote hydration of mucous membranes, including those of the vagina. So it’s interesting to have them on the menu more often in drought conditions.
hops
Some plants have “hormone-like” properties, which means they act like hormones in the body. Hops is a remarkable feminine plant that mimics the effects of estrogen to promote good lubrication.
Clary Sage Essential Oil
Sage essential oil is used for female problems. Rich in phytoestrogens to restore the balance of female sex hormones. Mix 1 drop of sage essential oil with 10 drops of vegetable oil and apply to lower abdomen morning and evening. This oil is not recommended for women with hormone-dependent cancers.
Soglas Cleansing Gel
Drying products like Marseille soap are not recommended when you suffer from vaginal dryness. It is best to choose a surgras cleansing gel with a physiological pH, therefore acidic (5), which protects the flora.
eat fatty acids
Vaginal dryness can be due to an imbalance of fatty acids (omega 3 and omega 6), so diet plays an important role in promoting a good balance of the vaginal mucosa. Olive oil, flaxseed oil, walnut oil contribute to a good balance of good fatty acids.
attention to underwear
Cotton underwear is not recommended as it will absorb all the moisture and cause vaginal dryness. In addition, wearing underwear while sleeping can cause gynecological problems and can also promote vaginal dryness.
