Stress, the sun, tobacco… Our skin is not only a mirror of our emotions, but also of our everyday actions. We will give you 7 tips to deal with it.
1. Wash your skin morning and night
It is essential to cleanse your face morning and night with treatment suitable for your skin type. Cleansing removes impurities (sebum, pollution, toxins, etc.) from the skin and allows it to breathe. Prefer foaming gels or micellar waters with a physiological pH, free of soap and alcohol, to respect the balance of the skin. For dry and reactive skin there are very good treatments specially formulated. After cleansing, wake up to radiant skin with a fragrance- or alcohol-free toner.a
2. Pay attention to hydration
We will never repeat: hydration is essential if you want to have beautiful skin but Moisturizing the skin after cleansing helps to regenerate the epidermis and restore the skin’s hydrolipidic balance. The top layer of the skin, called the stratum corneum, thus forms a protective film against external aggressors with your moisturizer. Use morning and night with the right moisturizer for your skin type: light for combination or oily skin, moisturizing for dry skin. Generally speaking, you can also choose lighter textures in summer, and richer textures throughout the year.
3. Never skip makeup removal
Makeup removal must also be part of your daily routine for beautiful skin. If makeup is not removed, excess sebum builds up, the complexion turns gray and the skin dries out, leading to the formation of wrinkles and blemishes. Makeup removal must precede cleansing and hydration. Apply a gentle, alcohol- or fragrance-free make-up remover to a cotton pad and massage into your face in circular motions. For the eyes, use a specific makeup remover. Leave the cotton on the eye for a few seconds, then wipe it gently.
4. Brewer’s yeast
Brewer’s yeast is composed of B vitamins (B1, B2 and B9) and vitamin E, which are very beneficial for skin, nails and hair. Vitamins B2 and B9, in particular, are involved in skin health, and vitamin B9 aids in the regeneration of cells. Tablets: 3 times a day, each time 3 tablets: 3 times a day, each time 2 grams of brewer’s yeast. Results were visible after 3 months of treatment.
5. Consider scrubs and exfoliation
Exfoliation once a week is necessary. Exfoliation removes dead skin cells that are dull the complexion. Choose a gentle scrub with microparticles or a homemade exfoliator (4 tablespoons fine salt with 2 tablespoons hazelnut or sweet almond oil, and vegetable oil for its moisturizing properties). Massage in circular motions to reactivate blood circulation and restore complexion’s radiance.
6. Gambling masks
There are masks for every skin type. Hydrating, astringent or sebums reassure, the mask should be applied to clean, dry skin and left on for 10 to 15 minutes. Then wipe off with a washcloth soaked in warm water and rinse thoroughly with cold water to tighten the pores. How often you apply a mask depends on your skin type and its condition. WARNING: Regular use of astringent masks may dry out skin. 1 dose every 15 days is sufficient.
7. Pay attention to the eye and lip contour
The eye area is a very delicate area because the skin there is thinner and more sensitive. Leaving it alone can quickly give a “dark circle” look. Use a richer professional eye cream to provide plenty of moisture to the skin and protect it from dark circles and wrinkles. However, these creams are not a panacea: only a healthy lifestyle will bring real results.
