Cold hands, heat, household items… nails become brittle and then break easily. Therefore they must be preserved.
If you think you don’t have enough time to take good care of your nails, here are some simple tips you can use every day.
- Moisturize your nails
Ridged and brittle nails are actually victims of dryness. To avoid this phenomenon, they must be hydrated! Massage the moisturizer into the base of the nails. This practice activates their cycle. It then nourishes them thanks to the fatty substances contained in the ointment. As a result, nails are more resistant to everyday aggressions. It is recommended to do this at least once a day, preferably at night, when the nails are no longer exposed to external shocks. - Don’t wash too early!
The more you wash your hands, the more damage you can do to your nails. In fact, water softens them. In the end, they split and eventually ruptured. As a reminder, it takes six months for nails to fully regrow, and a year for feet! If you want to maintain beautiful hands, you must be vigilant. Choose a mild soap and wash dishes with gloves on! - Lemon Whitening Nails
We often hear that lemons help whiten nails as well as hydrogen peroxide, but their effects are short-lived. If you choose these solutions, you have to be careful not to let it soak for too long. Then the nails will be soft and brittle! In fact, to effectively prevent yellowing of nails, it is best to avoid smoking (tar destroys natural flora) or touching any chemical products with bare hands. - If you want beautiful nails, you need a balanced diet!
If you want to have beautiful nails, you must eat a balanced diet! The latter, in fact, require different trace elements and vitamins for healthy growth. Choose foods rich in B vitamins (wheat germ, brewer’s yeast, egg yolks), vitamin C (fresh fruits, citrus fruits, bell peppers), silicon (vegetables), and protein (meats). Finally, avoid diets that often lead to deficiencies. - Consider dietary supplements!
Taking dietary supplements can be a plus, but be careful not to settle for just any one. It is best to choose those rich in zinc, iron, sulfur, gelatin and silicon, as these are involved in the manufacture and protection of nails. A regenerative three-month treatment without accumulating them: a supplement combining all these trace elements, or just one of these active ingredients. - Manicures, yes, but in moderation
Manicures can cause illness, so be careful. By cleaning the underside of our nails, we can take them off (even slightly) and facilitate the penetration of microbes. Eventually, a fungal infection will develop! So they must be cleaned, but not dug! - Limit the use of varnishes
Varnish protects nails from external aggressions. But you have to let them breathe from time to time (don’t apply varnish), and use acetone-free solvents (to avoid drying out the nails). To harden your nails, just add garlic juice to your nail polish! In the end, the use of false nails should only be the exception, as they can cause allergies. - Take care of your nails
For optimal care, cuticles should not be cut or peeled. This could give you an infection. It is best to use special oils or creams to exfoliate the cuticles. Gently push back with the wooden nail stick. Finally, if women are always looking for masks for their face or hair, they tend to forget about their nails! You can massage with Vaseline in circular motions while watching TV.
