Cinnamon water, a good helper for weight loss!

Cinnamon is one of the oldest spices in the world. Cultivated in Southeast Asia, its light taste and healing properties make it very popular among different people.

For thousands of years, sages in China, India, Vietnam, and Brazil have recognized the many health benefits of cinnamon. Used to fight gas, stimulate memory and cognitive function, and even relieve menstrual cramps, this spice may also promote weight loss. Will cinnamon water be a real ally for weight loss? We tell you everything.

It is well known that to promote rapid and effective weight loss, several factors must be considered. Starting with the function of the digestive system, ensuring the sorting between nutrients that are good for the body and toxins to be eliminated. However, several foods, including cinnamon, can promote good digestion.

Fluidized digestion isn’t the only benefit of cinnamon. This spice, full of healing properties, slows down the body’s absorption of glucose (sugar). Therefore, cinnamon water lowers the sugar levels in the blood. However, the higher the ratio, the hungrier we are. This, therefore, could explain why many products containing cinnamon claim to suppress appetite.

In addition, when glucose levels in the blood are low, it is easier for insulin production to regulate them. As a result, the body’s tendency to form fat is reduced. Therefore, consumption of cinnamon may protect against type 2 diabetes.

Another weight-loss-friendly property of cinnamon: The spice slows the passage of food through the stomach. People who drink cinnamon water regularly experience feelings of fullness more quickly, which can help reduce their intake at each meal.

For some doctors, there’s no evidence that cinnamon water actually works for weight loss. On the other hand, if popular belief is to be believed, cinnamon water is an effective ally in weight loss, as long as it is combined with a balanced diet. So for lasting and effective weight loss, the magic formula remains the same: healthy diet, exercise, persistence, and a lot of kindness.
